One fine morning, fed up with the life of running around in circles, idea of an escape struck me. “Why can’t I go unidirectional?”, “Why can’t I just move ahead without the need to come back?”, “What pulls me back every night despite all the vigour and will to break free?”, were some of the questions rumbling in my mind.
But someone, in some corner of my mind, quickly dismissed these ideas. Actually, when I looked around, I found that everything in the Universe is running around in circles, from tiny electrons to humongous galaxies. I frantically searched around for something somewhere to hint me of exception to this rule. I found none.
Protagonist of my story, Mudita, stumbles upon one such exception. A civilization of people, going steady in a line, escaped from the Universe, leaving everything that even remotely hints turning back. “Who are they?” “What do they do?” “What do they want to accomplish?” are few of the questions that Mudita tries to find answers to. As the story unfolds, she finds some of the answers. Let us check, what these are.
